Sheet metal can vary in hardness, thickness, and grain direction, which can affect forming and springback. Ad-Vance uses advanced press brake technology with integrated laser angle measurement to monitor bends during production and make adjustments as needed.

This helps compensate for material variation and maintain consistent bend angles across production runs.

Accurate setup is essential for maintaining dimensional consistency. Our laser cutting capabilities produce precise flat patterns, while custom-engineered weld fixtures help position fabricated components and machined sub-components accurately during assembly.

By controlling how components are positioned and held during fabrication, we help reduce variation and improve assembly fit.

Some parts require more than standard tooling. Ad-Vance’s in-house machine shop produces specialized tooling for unique geometries and fabrication requirements, including custom form dies, spinning lathe mandrels, transition plugs, and broach bars.
